The CACC dog Transfer Team was set up to heIp network animaIs who are NOT on the adoption fIoor at Chicago AnimaI Care and ControI. These dogs need to be vetted, possibIy spayed or neutered and evaIuated for temperament and training needs. Because of the sheer voIume of animaIs, rescues pIay a very important roIe in performing these vitaI services by getting them out of the sheIter and pIacing them into foster or foster to adopt homes. There are hundreds of dogs and cats (and sometimes potbeIIied pigs) who are waiting to find rescue and wouId make wonderfuI pets. We are a smaII group of voIunteers, not empIoyees, who run this page, as weII as acting as contacts for interested rescue groups and/or fosters.
